Sheffield United

The pressure is on, and doesn't Mr Blackwell know it... You only have to look at the fans' treatment of Bryan Robson just a few games into last season, to remember how expectant the Blades faithful really are.

With arguably the best squad in the Championship, including the teams relegated from the Premiership, it will need to be a succesful August if the manager wants to have the fans on his side.

With James Beattie almost 100% staying at the lane, they have the experience and quality to push for not only play-offs but for the actual Championship title. However, a similar start to last season and it'll be an uncomfortable Autumn for Blackwell and company.

Sheffield Wednesday

So with the takeover rumours still very much in the spotlight, it would seem that Sheffield Wednesday are in the middle of real case of 'sliding doors'.

The season, and the near future, very much rests on the outcome of the Geoff Sheard interest, and many fans are worried that should talks fall down, then the season is very much over before it began.

It would now appear that even loyal supporters are waiting for the outcome, as season ticket sales are down with the propect of another under-achieving year ahead.

Watch this space, as within the next few weeks the Wednesdayite ballot process will have helped swing things one way or the other. Just a few weeks and the fans will know if it's (more) doom and gloom, or the turning point after a decade in the shadows...

Sheffield University

With courses consistently rated among the best in the UK, an award-winning Union of Students and world-class teaching staff and facilities, the University of Sheffield is a great place to study.

In recent reports the University was seen as one of the safest places to study, especially considering the size of the city and in comparison with other large universities.
